Mission

Presbyterian Church of the Master (PCM) has a rich history of involvement in Mission, both in our own community and to the larger world. While PCM provides financial assistance to various mission and service ministries, many of our ministries are hands-on, with members working directly to bring God’s justice into the world.

Here are some of the ministries and projects that PCM has a strong involvement with throughout the year within the Omaha metro area:
– PCM Community Garden & Garden Mart
– BART – Benson Area Refugee Taskforce
– Red Cross Blood Drives
– Habitat for Humanity
– Sienna-Francis House
– Food Bank for the Heartland
– Table Grace Ministry
– Crossroads Connection Prison Ministry
– Together, Inc.

In addition, allowing community groups to meet at our facility is an additional way we use our resources to support the community. Some of these groups include:
– Boy and Cub Scouts
– AA Meetings
– Al-Anon Meetings

Beyond our community, PCM is a financial supporter of the world-wide Mission performed by our national denomination the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Bringing together the financial resources of congregations from all across the country and the experience of our national staff, the Presbyterian Church is able to respond to critical needs around the world. From medical and nutrition issues in third world countries to disaster assistance here in the United States, Presbyterians step-up to assist wherever needed.
