Introduction
Presbyterian Church of the Master is launching an ambitious capital fundraising campaign for the purpose of retiring the debt the church still retains from the building remodel that was completed few years prior. Sorely needed and long overdue, the renovation project touched all corners of our aging facility that in some portions exceeded more than fifty years old. The additions and modernizations of the building that were completed positioned Church of the Master to serve future generations of Christians.
Just as the building renovations positioned the church for the future, eliminating our debt will also have a dramatic impact on the future of the congregation. If we are successful and eliminate our outstanding debt then all the money given by members can be used directly for our wide-ranging ministry. From youth programs to mission giving, music, Christian Education, and community outreach, all will benefit from having funding that unfortunately might otherwise be used for loan repayment.
Campaign Overview
The campaign begins in March of 2026 with a pledge drive throughout the entire month. On the first Sunday, March 1, we will initially kick-off the campaign during the Worship service followed by a luncheon meeting immediately following. Everyone is invited to come learn about the campaign. Information will be shared including the benefits of retiring the debt and the campaign goals. An opportunity will also be provided for any questions. On subsequent Sundays during the Worship service additional campaign information and messages from fellow members will be shared. Throughout the entire month on our social media outlets and this website, campaign information will be available and updated.
As we move past pledge month in March, the campaign will continue for approximately the next three years and will conclude on December 31, 2028.
We invite you to explore all the capital campaign information on this website. We have attempted to give you a detailed picture of our financial situation related to our ongoing debt. In addition, we have tried to anticipate the questions you may have. We have also provided a “Contact Us” form that is sent directly to the campaign committee for response to any additional questions you may have.
Thank you for taking the time to review this information and your continued support of Presbyterian Church of the Master.
